• Output (printer) profiles (.icc/.icm files) need to be set / applied for optimal colour accuracy (DCP-T models only - does not apply to Brother SP-1 printer models). The recommended software apps for this purpose are: Affinity Designer or Photo, CorelDraw (full version), Photoshop, Lightroom , Illustrator or even free GIMP (not very user friendly) and Irfanview (latest version with plugins loaded). Without these or our cheap colour translator tool to apply the profiles, your colours will never be accurate (eg similar to what you see on your screen). This is critical so please make sure you have one of the above design applications if you plan to pursue Sublimation Printing. Your colour matching will be very poor printing from apps like: Canva, Silhouette, Inkscape, Design Space, Word, PowerPoint, Paint, Photo / Picture Viewer or anything printed directly from your mobile phone .
• I am unable to support or assist with colours if you don't use any of the above mentioned programs! Using any other software is done so at your own risk and discretion and your colours may be very inaccurate.
• These ink sets include a free .icc / .icm file and instructions at no extra charge. As this is a generic / one fits all type profile, it will never be perfect but will substantially improve your colours.
•  Online support offered for Windows installations only, using www.rustdesk.com at an additional fee of R350 per session.
• Please also note that I do not officially support Apple Mac OS due to lots of problems and bugs reported over the past few years - especially with regards the handling of custom printer profiles. Please order and use these inks at your own risk & discretion if you use an Apple computer using Mac OS as the operating system!
• We make our own custom colour profiles in-house and fully understand the process from beginning to end and can easily refine these if necessary - quickly too!
• If you use Silhouette, Canva, Inkscape, Design Space or another software program that does not support colour management properly (eg CorelDRAW Essentials or Student Teacher version), you will need to apply the colour profiles using a translator tool. In this way you would export/save the design as a .jpg, .png or .pdf and then apply the printer profile using this tool. Keep in mind an exported image from any of these programs may result in a very low / poor resolution, so again not really ideal.
• The printer profile (.icc) was created using Cascade brand dye sub paper so please use this brand for best results.
• Dye sublimation ink best used within 1 year of purchase - it does have a shelf life

Custom colour profiling can be performed by us for your unique environment (variables such as temperature, time, pressure, transfer paper, coated media, design software, operating system, printer, printer driver and ink will effect your final outcome). This is an extremely challenging print method when it comes to colour fidelity. This service is limited to users/clients using our dye sub ink.
